Our Story

The C.M.L. Srl mechanical machining company was founded in 1974 when Giuseppe Malimpensa decided to leave his previous work as sales representative and begin to produce iron and aluminium accessories for doors and windows in a small factory.

So begins his adventure. Initially the production was focused only on accessories for doors and windows and later he began to produce handles with their relative patented fastening systems. As the orders increased, the production department was moved to Piove di Sacco in a bigger factory.

Since 1990 the production has been focused on accessories for industries such as Metra, Hydro, Schuco and later on behalf of third parties too.

Since 2001, for productive and organizational needs, the company has been moved to the Zona Artigianale di Legnaro (handcrafted area in Legnaro) where Giuseppe Malimpensa, together with his children, still produces high-quality accessories with efficiency and investing in new technologies.
